What is Professional Technical Training? Friends University recognizes that learning may take place in settings other than the college classroom. Many adult students have acquired knowledge from training or life experiences such as a job; self-education; or practical experience; is equivalent to learning gained in in the classroom. Where college-level learning from these experiences can be verified and properly documented, Friends University may award some college credit. The program allows up to 30 credit hours to be evaluated and apply toward incoming applicant’s total undergraduate credit hour amount.
